And we found a pied-billed grebe. We've not seen one before....it's a shame this one was dead. I wanted to bring it home for a proper burial, but Daddy said no. It *was* kinda smelly. lol Funky-looking creature. We looked them up online, because although I knew it was a grebe I couldn't name the exact one. We got to listen to a recording of it's call, too...that's cool!
